Hi my dear Owens class reps,I am Sharon, the admin director for owens house comm. The designs for the teeshirt is out, and we're now taking orders for shirts. There are 2 designs attached for the front of the shirt- we have yet to decide which is better, with or without gradient. We will be requesting for one sample each of the 2 different variations from the supplier upon confirmation of order numbers and from there decide which looks better.
The shirt will be of HONEYCOMB material, somewhat like polo teeshirts available outside. Better material than cotton so it doesnt look so much like a school shirt. Its a POLO teeshirt (with collar and sleeves). The collar will be somewhat similar to the PE teeshirts that we have- a stripe of green in the middle/bottom of the collar, slightly thicker stripe though. It is a white shirt, with one part of green- the buttons of the polo shirt part facing outside is white as normal, facing inside when you button up the shirt will be green. (its NOT ugly! very nice, in fact =D) Then the rest of the design is as per in the pictures attached. The design on the back is somewhere in the middle of the top part.
The cost will be tentatively $15, until further confirmation with the supplier after we determine the numbers. With more people ordering the shirts we will be able to lower the price from the supplier and whatever remaining money will be returned. So encourage your friends to order it with you! I am confident we can lower the price if we all order it together. Besides, the design is cool, its a shirt you can wear outside.
Heres what i need you class reps to assist me in:
1- Send out the design to ALL your classmates. Let them know the price and all details. Actually, you can forward this mail to make things easier for you guys. Make sure they check their emails and know about this placement of orders. As for those who are overseas and uncontactable, just leave them be for now and dont worry about them cos we will not leave them out.
2- Include in your email to your classmates to place their orders. Indicate the quantity and the size they want. For now just accept all sizes, gauge it against the school pe teeshirts- i'll inform you again if some sizes arent available.
3- Collate all orders, in terms of sizes. Eg, S- 5, M- 10, L- 7. The number of teeshirts in each size that your class wants. Total up the sum of money to be collected from your class. Send the orders to me, SHARON BY 6TH DECEMBER 2007. To be included in the orders- Number of S,M,L,etc that you need and the Total Amount that you have to give to us (total no. of shirts X 15). Note: INCOMPLETE, LATE and NON replies will be taken as NEGATIVE replies, ie. your whole class does not want the shirt. So please be prompt and exact in placing orders, just 2 items to be included in the order. Thank You!
4- Collect payment of $15 from your classmates by 13th December 2007. Hand in the money to the house comm. members on that day, BY THE TIME OGL MEETING ENDS (roughly afternoon).
